Happy Anniversary!

One year ago about this exact time, the idea of creating a blog for our wedding popped in my mind. I was so inspired that I immediately drafted our welcome message. At first the idea of the blog was to serve as our diary of things from preparation to the actual wedding day. Since we have an extended family and lots of awesome friends located in different parts of the Philippines and abroad, the blog would be our instant press release on the progress of the preparations as well as reference for our friends who would soon be hitched. We were not prepared for the better things to unfold.

There were times when me and Jay stopped writing entries. When topics become so scarce and things got a little boring. There were intances where we would doubt if anyone aside from our friends would bother to read our articles. But there would always be moments that we will look at each other and say, "This has got to be in our blog". Not because somebody out there would read but because we wanted to remember the exact moment, the exact place, the exploits for our preparations, the hardships and excitement, the challenges and the little triumphs.

To this date, 27,000+ hits was generated by our blog. This is for us a very, very huge success. To become a speck in the vastness of the worldwide web is already an achievement for us. Much more to receive comments of thanks from those we have helped just by reading our blog. We did not expect it to be the most searched page for DOST scholars as well. It was a big surprise that the statistics no longer mattered to us. So overwhelming that it dawned to us that maybe, just maybe we are destined for something even bigger, even greater, even more ambitious. But about that, we will leave it all to our Big Boss above. Whatever His plans, we will follow.

A year ago, me and Jay were just dreaming of our future together, we were carving yet our destiny. But now we are living it for real. More than what we have dreamed and expected. We are happy to announce that we will soon become a one bigger family. God has blessed us with a little angel. And soon our blog would no longer be about marriage but more of LIFE. And we are already excited for the future.

From the bottom of our hearts we are thankful especially to our families, friends and readers who made this all possible. Without all of you, these could not have happened. Without you, this could have remained a dream.

Daghang salamat. Salamat guid. Domo arigatou gozaimasu. Merci. Thank you very much!
