Today, me and my beloved fiance attended the Weddings and Beyond Expo at PICC Forum. We again saw the familiar arrays of suppliers ranging from Events coordination and management, photography and videography, flowers and confectioneries, bridal couture and wedding rings, souvenirs, lights and sounds, event venues and catering, and make up and aesthetics.

We had so much fun gathering fliers, checking out info on suppliers, observing latest trends and designs and joining contests and freebies. I was able to buy a set of make up which I seldom do. The presentations and booth designs were all eye candy. Seeing footage of wedding videos and samples of photographs makes me dreamy of what would transpire on our wedding day. We enjoyed being critics for a day.

We encountered potential suppliers but our main challenge was since the wedding would be in Bacolod they all required additional out of town charges that include accommodation and airfare. Ouch! Nevertheless, we had a great time taking down notes on how we could integrate the ideas in our wedding. We are thankful that events like these were created. Most of the suppliers are friendly and accommodating although at times we encountered unenthusiastic ones.
