Discovering Ilocandia Day 2: The Prenuptial Shoot

Welcome to Vigan! After we were told the night before that it was raining hard for the past days, we were starting to worry. The result of our photo shoot would matter based on the weather. Thankfully, Mr. Sun smiled cheerfully during the day of our shoot.

Our first stop was Mira Hills. Although there was little to see in the place, it was a very good spot for some camera tricks and clicks.

We then proceeded to the Saint Paul Cathedral and Plaza Salcedo. The cathedral showcased the richness of Spanish influence. The kalesa terminal in front of the cathedral preserves the vintage feel of the area. The plaza also featured tables made of kalesa wheels.

Another worthwhile place to loiter is the Vigan Empanadaan. This is where you can taste the most delicious empanada. Empanada is Vigan’s local delicacy made from rice flour that serves as crust and mixture of vegetable, egg, and longganisa, the latter a famous product also of the city.

We also shot some photos in Vigan airport. It was great that an airplane was stationed at the airport adding some wonderful background.

Our last stop was the Mindoro Beach where we can already see the South China Sea. The sunset at the beach was so breathtaking.

We dined at CafƩ Leona before our shoot in Calle Crisologo. We ordered one of their bestsellers, the Formaggi Pizza.

That wrapped up our day 1 of the prenuptial shoot. We were super blessed that it rained that afternoon. The water along the street of Calle Crisologo reflected the lights of the lampposts.

We retired with happy and accomplished faces. Kudos to our Ć¼ber talented photographer for the best shots and the best locations for the shoot!
